Valor Preparatory Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Thursday. Their tough 61-36 defeat to Methodist Children's Home might stick with them for a while. Valor Preparatory Academy found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 16 to 6 on offense.
Despite the loss, Valor Preparatory Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bear Griesemer scored seven points along with five assists and two steals. Griesemer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Maddox Meline was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
CenTex HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
CenTex HomeSchool took a serious blow against Valor Preparatory Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 74-20. Can CenTex HomeSchool avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
