The Dakota Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 45-28 bruising from Polo. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dakota in their matchups with Polo: they've now lost three in a row.
Dakota lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madison Binder, who scored three points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Dakota has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Polo, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota will take on Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Polo, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Milledgeville at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Milledgeville has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 6.
