It was a good run, but  Mitchell unfortunately witnessed the end of their  eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Sunlake Seahawks, falling  7-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since  back in February.
Mitchell got a good showing from  NATE EALY, who   pitched 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  EALY gave up only zero  earned runs, the fewest he's  had since back in February.
 On the hitting side, Mitchell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  LOGAN KOSLIN, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base.
Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Sunlake,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mitchell will head out to  face off against Anclote  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Sunlake, they will venture away from home to  square off against Zephyrhills  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Zephyrhills has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.07  runs per game on average), something Sunlake will no doubt try to take advantage of.
