Basketball Recap: Mason's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mason). They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 71-33 blowout they got against the Colerain Cardinals. The victory was some much needed relief for the Comets as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Mason's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for Colerain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Mason will challenge Princeton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason is facing Princeton at the right time seeing as Princeton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Colerain, they will take on Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colerain will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Hamilton will have lost six straight heading into Tuesday's game.
