Softball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Pusch Ridge Christian Academy took on Globe on Friday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy walked away with a 13-9 win over Globe. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their one-run performance the game before.

Hadley English and Josie Burnside were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, English pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Burnside struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. At bat, English scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Burnside scored a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddy Hoel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Milan Daniels, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
