Stevenson waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Thurston Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 24-13. As for Thurston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.

Stevenson will square off against Western International at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 3.8, the Cowboys 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Thurston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
