The High Point Christian Academy Cougars can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 65-16 win over Caldwell Academy. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-6.
Kylie Torrence was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Forester, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
High Point Christian Academy's win was their 19th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.68 points. As for Caldwell Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Point Christian Academy will take on Calvary Day School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Calvary Day School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five last Thursday. As for Caldwell Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
