Greeneview is 0-9 against Mechanicsburg since April of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will square off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Greeneview knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Mechanicsburg likes a good challenge.
While Greeneview's win against Greenon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 victory over the Knights on Wednesday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Mya Simpson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Battista, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Greeneview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mechanicsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Triad 10-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Mylee DeLong was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. DeLong was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Avery McDowell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Keelyn McGhee, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Greeneview pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Mechanicsburg, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Mechanicsburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Greeneview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. It's a different story for Mechanicsburg, though, as they've only averaged .233. Will they be able to contain Greeneview's hitters?
Greeneview might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Mechanicsburg when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
