The Richton Rebels won against the Heidelberg Oilers last Thursday with 78 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Richton walked away with a 78-65 victory over Heidelberg. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Richton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dakota Amos out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Amos posted eight or more assists. Dave Woulard was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Richton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-7. As for Heidelberg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Richton will be playing in front of their home fans against North Forrest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Forrest is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Heidelberg, they will head out on the road to face off against Collins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Collins is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
