With a playoff win on the line, Wildwood rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Chiefland Indians 79-22. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Wildwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinidy Harris, who went 10 of 23 en route to 23 points and six steals. Adejah Corbin was another key player, putting up 13 points along with seven boards and four steals.

Chiefland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nyasia Bivins, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Laila Ingram, who earned four points and three steals.

Wildwood's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-0. As for Chiefland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-6 record this season.

Wildwood will take on Williston at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Williston will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Wildwood surely won't give up without a fight. Chiefland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
