There's no place like home for Broaddus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Martinsville Pirates on Tuesday. Aiden Sowell made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
