St. Mary's scored a shocking upset when it eliminated St. Paul's, 36-34. At the time, the Crusaders were ranked 17th in the state, while the Saints were 79th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to John Carroll, who defeated 33rd ranked Boys Latin, 14-0. Christian Scott threw for 93 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 22 yards in the win.
Omaryon White provided a threat through the air and on the ground as St. Mary's bested St. Paul's. White's favorite target this week was Liam Kelly, who caught 3 passes for 64 yards.
White was a beast in the backfield as Frank Richard's team beat Paul Bernstorf's team.
Mark Michael was the best wideout in MIAA B this week as the Patriots bested the Lakers. Michael tallied 2 receptions for 78 yards. Jerome Brown helped John Carroll's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.
The Saints' Jake Ellis and Kelly led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Ellis has thrown for 1,131 yards this season, while Kelly has 39 catches for 581 yards. John Carroll's Paul Lorick leads the league in rushing yards with 1,101.
The Crusaders are in second place, while Boys Latin is in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when St. Paul's takes on the Lakers. The Crusaders have allowed 126 points this season, while Boys Latin has given up 66. St. Paul's allowed 36 points last week as it lost to St. Mary's.
Scott and Michael provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Lakers. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 70 yards.
