Hanover Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sienna Stilley led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bridget Noel, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Lowell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kirstin Summers. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points. Maddie Mielczarek was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hanover Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Lowell, they have yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-1 record.
Hanover Central will square off against Kouts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kouts is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Lowell, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Crown Point focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
