Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Mackenzie Foringer stepped things up a notch to give Redbank Valley the 'W'. Foringer wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Foringer and Redbank Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Karns City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs had to take a loss when they last met the Gremlins, but Foringer had little to do with the loss: she went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Can she match (or beat) that performance?
