They blew past the Yellowjackets, posting a 48-12 victory on the road. Considering the Sand Lizards have won four matches by more than 35 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The win got Lamar back to even at 3-3. As for Dardanelle, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
Lamar came out on top in a nail-biter against Dardanelle in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, sneaking past 22-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lamar since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
