If the Bowen Boilermakers were feeling good off their 31-10 takedown of the Hirsch Huskies last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between Bowen and Hancock wasn't particularly close, with Bowen falling 26-9. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bowen has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Bowen still got an impressive performance from Delia Walker, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals. Walker set a new season high mark in steals with three.
Bowen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hancock, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowen will take on Carver at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carver is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Hancock, they will be playing at home against Solorio at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Solorio comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
