Center Point's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.5 points per game. As for San Saba, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-14.
Things could have been worse for Center Point, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-31 loss to San Saba in their previous matchup back in January.
