Hamilton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to White Station. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hamilton in their matchups with White Station: they've now lost three in a row.
Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Devan McGee, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rodney Mcneal, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Hamilton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-11. As for White Station, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Kirby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kirby is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for White Station, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Memphis East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memphis East will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while White Station is ranked 96th).
