The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes will head out on the road to face off against the Dollar Bay Bays at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lake Linden-Hubbell is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dollar Bay in Michigan (Lake Linden-Hubbell is ranked 218th, while Dollar Bay is ranked 517th).
Lake Linden-Hubbell has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 32 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Calumet 59-25 at home. The victory was just what Lake Linden-Hubbell needed coming off of a 70-31 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Dollar Bay strolled past Baraga with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 51-37. That looming 51-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dollar Bay yet this season.
Liam Tourtillott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Kentala, who scored six points along with seven assists and five steals.
Lake Linden-Hubbell's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Dollar Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
