San Ysidro can attribute much of their success to Ryan Nance, who had 11 digs and two aces. Nance is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.
Southwest SD's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 15-11. As for San Ysidro, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-9.
