She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. Diaz was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Perris got a massive performance out of Anahi Morales, who got on base in three of her six plate appearances with six stolen bases and four runs. Those six stolen bases gave Morales a new career-high. Edna Penaloza was another key player, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one double.
