Poteau had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Everything went their way against the Muldrow Bulldogs as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Poteau's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Muldrow, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Poteau will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
