The Dixie Flyers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 54-46 victory over Pine View. The score was all tied up 29-29 at the break, but Dixie was the better team in the second half.
It was another big night for Kealah Faumuina, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. Jaycee Bundy was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Dixie has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Pine View, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Dixie will head out on the road to face off against Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow Canyon will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Pine View, they will be playing at home against Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
