Ballard put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 76-60 victory over the Gilbert Tigers. Given the Bombers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Tigers are ranked 35th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ballard pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Gilbert, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ballard will host Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilbert, they will be playing in front of their home fans against A-D-M at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in A-D-M's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
