The Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat The New Community School 46-2 at home. The victory was just what Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot needed coming off of a 58-22 defeat in their prior match.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Hickey, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Maynes, who scored 6 points along with 7 assists.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for The New Community School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will head out on the road to face off against Spirit HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for The New Community School, they will be playing at home against Guardian Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
