After flying high against the Bayshore Bruins on Monday, the Booker Tornadoes came back down to earth. Booker took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Venice on Wednesday. Booker has struggled against Venice recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Booker still got an impressive performance from Jovan Palavra, who scored 23 points. The match was Palavra's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jamareon Ruffin, who scored 11 points.
Booker has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Venice, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.
