ITW David Speer Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Bulls College Prep since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Pride will be playing at home against the Bulls at 3:00 p.m. ITW David Speer Academy will be strutting in after a win while Bulls College Prep will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, ITW David Speer Academy got the win against Payton College Prep by a conclusive 14-6. The result was nothing new for the Pride, who have now won 13 games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Sophia Hernandez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Kloey Reyes was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Miabella Collazo was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Bulls College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Chicago Christian, falling 18-3. That's two games in a row now that the Bulls have lost by exactly 15 runs.
Mya Cruz was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for ITW David Speer Academy and bumps their season record up to 17-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Bulls College Prep, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
