Abbie Vlacich made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those stolen bases were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Cade Wiley was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
