It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Dillon Wildcats can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 35-21 to Camden. Dillon's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Grayson White, who threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Aidan Heriot, who picked up 132 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Dillon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Camden, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Dillon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Camden will face off against Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Gilbert is ranked 33rd, while Camden is ranked 27th).
