Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Erin McDaid stepped things up a notch to give Smithtown West the 'W'. McDaid wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer hits.
