Spruce Creek waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the University Titans 11-1. Considering the Hawks have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordan Livingston spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Nathan Ricko was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Tyler Boyesen, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Spruce Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Spruce Creek's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5-2.

Looking ahead, Spruce Creek is taking a road trip to take on Windermere at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Spruce Creek 2.1, Windermere 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for University, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Atlantic at 4:00 p.m.
