The Willow Lions entered their tilt with the East Jefferson Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Willow skirted past East Jefferson 24-21.
East Jefferson's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Gaven Bester, who threw for 220 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Dajon Bates, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
Willow's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for East Jefferson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Willow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Jefferson also has no future games currently scheduled.
