Aaron Deleon Goes Supernova in Stratford Defeat
Starting off the list is Stratford's Aaron Deleon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Deleon rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 102 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Those 131 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Stratford's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. Deleon and Stratford will take on Cypress Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Chase Ferrell Leads Cypress Falls over Jersey Village
Chase Ferrell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cypress Falls to the win on Friday. Ferrell rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Ferrell and Cypress Falls will square off against Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferrell will face off against Hunter Biehl, the Spartans' star pass catcher. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

Stratford came up short on Saturday despite Tiergan Burl delivering his best game to date. Burl picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
