The biggest upset of the week belonged to Washington Union, who took down 326th ranked Liberty, 48-25.
The Panthers moved up to 673 from 756 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Sequoia. Washington Union was able to make move up by topping the Hawks 48-25.
Liberty's dynamic duo of Zach Richey and AJ Leon proved tough for Jeff Freitas' team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Richey threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns and Leon had 64 yards receiving. Sam McHatton helped Liberty's passing attack out by catching four balls for 58 yards.
Jordan Beene provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Kerman lost to Sierra. He completed 18 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown and also ran for five yards. Beene's favorite target this week was Jesse Valles, who caught seven passes for 64 yards.
Devaughn Gaines was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 110 yards on nine carries as Chowchilla fell to the Panthers. Fernando Martinez also contributed to the rushing game with 75 yards on the ground.
Yosemite's Joey Woolsey and Dillon Moran have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Woolsey has thrown for 1016 yards this season, while Moran has 19 catches for 320 yards. The Chieftains' Gage McAdams leads the league in rushing yards with 778.
A big matchup in North Sequoia this week will be when Sierra takes on the Redskins. At the moment, Rob Hastie's team is in second, while Chowchilla is in third.
Alex Pittz's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Badgers, 64-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
