Davis has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Dobbins, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Sparta's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elexa Jones, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Kylie Burton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Aquinas pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.5 points. As for Sparta, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
