On Saturday, Argos came up short against Churubusco and fell 54-44.
Despite the loss, Argos still got an impressive performance from Sean Richard, who scored 22 points along with three steals. That was a full 50% of Argos' points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Stults, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Argos' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Churubusco, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.
Argos will take on Triton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Churubusco, Churubusco and Lakeland will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lakeland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 322 points over their last five games.
