The Warren Warriors entered their tilt with the Sotomayor WILDCATS with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Warren pulled ahead with a 20-19 photo finish over Sotomayor. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Warren also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Elijah Realzola, who picked up 142 receiving yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Sotomayor lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Jayden Gutierrez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Gutierrez really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Warren's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Sotomayor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sotomayor also has no future games currently scheduled.
