Bushland is 5-0 against River Road since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bushland Falcons will be playing at home against the River Road Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Bushland will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Bushland blew past Muleshoe, posting a 56-26 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-12.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-8, which was the final score in River Road's tilt against Dalhart on Friday. River Road was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Even if they lost, River Road's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Elijah Urias and Samuel Delgado who racked up four sacks between them.
Bushland has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first seven games, giving them a 6-1 record. As for River Road, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-6.
