A Season-Best Effort from Bodi Anderson Leads Batavia over St. Charles East
Bodi Anderson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Batavia to the win on Friday. Anderson rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
On the year, Anderson has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 134.7 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.29 passing yards per game.

Sean Keegan Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Sean Keegan posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead St. Charles East over Batavia on Friday. Keegan rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 72 yards.
St. Charles East has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Keegan and St. Charles East will welcome Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Geneva Gets a Boost from Rumoro in 28-24 Win
Geneva picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Michael Rumoro. Rumoro was unstoppable, rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Geneva's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Rumoro will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on St. Charles East on Friday.

Geneva Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Talyn Taylor
Talyn Taylor's big game helped extend Geneva's winning streak to seven on Friday. Wheaton North had no answer to Taylor as he picked up 157 receiving yards and a touchdown. Taylor was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards.
This year, Taylor has caught 14 touchdowns while averaging 112.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 5.71 receiving yards per game.

Nathan Whitwell Makes It Two for Batavia
The second Batavia player making an appearance here is Nathan Whitwell, and for good reason. He rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
St. Charles East's probably not too fond of Whitwell given he always seems to get the better of them. When Whitwell last faced the Fighting Saints back in October of 2023, he rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
