Even though the Goodridge/Grygla Chargers scored an imposing 70 points on Monday, the Thief River Falls Prowlers still came out on top. Thief River Falls strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 84-70. Winning may never get old, but Thief River Falls sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Caleb Rosendahl was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Thief River Falls' points. Another player making a difference was Bridger Wilcox, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds.
Thief River Falls' victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Goodridge/Grygla, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-5.
Thief River Falls won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Sacred Heart knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 19 contests -- so hopefully the Prowlers like a good challenge. As for Goodridge/Grygla, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
