The Greeley County Jackrabbits scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Northern Valley 55-31. The victory was just what Greeley County needed coming off of a 57-17 loss in their prior game.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mary Baird, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Delaney Sides was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Greeley County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Northern Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeley County will take on Wallace County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wallace County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Northern Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hill City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hill City is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
