Softball Recap: J.F. Webb Sets Scoring Season-High Against Durham School of the Arts

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.F. Webb). They put the hurt on the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs with a sharp 20-7 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alivia Webb, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Makayla Jennings was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

J.F. Webb always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .658. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

J.F. Webb's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Durham School of the Arts, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
