Durango hasn't had much luck against Desert Oasis recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Trailblazers will look to defend their home field against the Diamondbacks at 3:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Durango is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Western with a sharp 20-3 win on Monday. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Leiah Biscocho, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Perla Mejia Martinez was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
Meanwhile, Desert Oasis won against Spring Valley on Thursday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Diamondbacks' way against Sierra Vista as they made off with a 17-6 win.
Nolly Newbry was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alissa Perkins, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles.
Desert Oasis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive matchups.
Durango's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Desert Oasis, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Durango has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .471. However, it's not like Desert Oasis struggles in that department as they've averaged .626. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Durango might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Desert Oasis when the teams last played back in March. Can the Trailblazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
