The Notre Dame Bulldogs lost against the Jackson Fighting Indians back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Notre Dame took a 63-46 bruising from Jackson. Notre Dame has struggled against Jackson recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Blayne Harris was on fire for Jackson: he scored 24 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Judd Thoma, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Notre Dame's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Jackson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Notre Dame will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dexter at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Jackson on the road again on Tuesday and play against Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Charleston is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
