The Tradition Prep Pirates will challenge the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Park Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Tradition Prep, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, Tradition Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Westwood, but they still walked away with a 82-76 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Tradition Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Johnson, who went 11 of 21 en route to 36 points. The game was Johnson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aydan Fields, who went 9 for 10 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Lincoln Park Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 42-29 to Pine. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Tradition Prep will need focus on slowing down Jared Young, one of several Lincoln Park Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted four points and eight boards. Haazim Marjan was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Even though they lost, Lincoln Park Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Tradition Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points per game. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Tradition Prep against Lincoln Park Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 69-31 victory. In that game, Tradition Prep amassed a halftime lead of 48-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
