Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pieper). They blew past the Wagner Thunderbirds, posting a 48-6 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Chase Lyons went supernova, throwing for 314 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. Carson LaCombe was in the mix too, providing Pieper with two scores.

The victory got Pieper back to even at 2-2. As for Wagner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Pieper has already played their next game, a 27-17 loss against Smithson Valley on the 26th. As for Wagner, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-7 win against MacArthur on the 25th.
