The Kingsbury Falcons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 69-59 win over Lakeland Preparatory. Given Kingsbury's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Lakeland Preparatory is ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kingsbury pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingsbury will play host again and welcome Memphis Central, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Memphis Business Academy at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Memphis Business Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
