Wyatt Beddes Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Shepherd's Wyatt Beddes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Beddes rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Shepherd is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Beddes' next contest is against Red Lodge/Belfry/Roberts on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Jake Cook Delivers Electric Performance Vs Colstrip
Jake Cook was instrumental in extending Joliet's winning streak to three on Thursday. Nobody could stop Cook as he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 72 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Joliet's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Cook and Joliet will welcome Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grady Schmidt and Co. Win Third in a Row
Huntley Project picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Grady Schmidt. Schmidt was dynamite, rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 136 rushing yards.
This season, Schmidt has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 117.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Juhnke Made His Presence Known in Joliet's 49-7 Victory
Kaden Juhnke put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Thursday. He rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
For the season, Juhnke has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 137 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.
