Lutheran has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to  challenge the Palmer Ridge Bears  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their  games after big wins in their previous games.
 Last Thursday, Lutheran got the win against Air Academy  by a conclusive  3-0.
 One reason for the win was Lutheran's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11,  25-10.
 Lutheran's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Reese Brgoch, who  had six  digs and 13  assists. Brgoch is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzy Getsch, who  had five  digs and three  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Lutheran  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in eight consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Palmer Ridge's way against Cheyenne Mountain on Thursday as Palmer Ridge made off with  a  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bears.
 Palmer Ridge was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-12,  25-22.
 Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Palmer Ridge, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-5.
 Lutheran suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Palmer Ridge  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023. Can Lutheran avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
