On Friday, The Juanita Ravens never let their opponents score. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 41-0 win over Mercer Island. Juanita pushed the score to 34-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Mercer Island had no chance of recovering from.
Dallas Sooto was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 213 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Nolan Mcwilliams was in the mix as well, providing Juanita with two touchdowns.
The win makes it two in a row for Juanita and bumps their season record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36 points. As for Mercer Island, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juanita will face off against Auburn Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Auburn Riverside is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Mercer Island, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennewick at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Kennewick's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
